Islamic World News Analysis Group: Today Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in the Turkish Defense Industry Summit which held in Ankara said that the Turkey will start an operation east of the Euphrates river in northern Syria in a “few days”.

Erdogan said that Turkey’s target in Syria has never been U.S. troops, but rather the terrorists the U.S. has been working with, against Turkey’s strenuous objections.

He added “Despite everything, if we meet on the right grounds, we see the U.S. as our strategic ally that we walk into the future with together; Turkey and the U.S. should not allow their “deep” disagreements over Syria to prevent major cooperation in the future.”

Thus We will start the operation to clear the East of the Euphrates from separatist terrorists in a few days, he said.

Following the announcement of Turkish operations in eastern Euphrates by the Turkish president, armored vehicles and more troops were transferred to the Syrian border; on the other hand, the United States has announced that it has established new surveillance posts near the Turkish borders to reduce any tensions in the area.
