A car bomb hit the Syedi Khalifa area in Libya’s Benghazi. Faraj Al-Gaem, deputy internal affairs minister of the current Tobruk-based government was a target of the attack. He survived the blast. However, several people were killed and wounded in the attack.
Clashes have continued between the Libyan National Army (LNA) and forces loyal to the Government of National Accord (based in Tripoli) in the Libyan coastal city of Sabratha.
